Architects and Property Developers

EnergyConsult offers a service that is tailor-made for architects and property developers. We provide guidance and real-time support throughout the planning and construction phase. We help you select the most appropriate materials and technologies for your clients. We can provide decision matrices that allow your client to find his or her optimal solution depending on investment, expected cost of operation and overall environmental standard. During the construction phase we verify the proper installation of materials and equipment from an energy efficiency perspective, as required.

Project support can be provided for

• passive house (class A),
• low energy house (class B),
• energy efficient house (class C)
• regular construction (class D and above),

all in accordance with applicable ISO/DIN standards and Luxembourg specific regulations.

We use the most advanced tools in the industry for measuring and calculating energy efficiency. Our Blower Door test system can measure leak rates up to 3000 m3/h, based on DIN EN 13829. Our thermographic camera system is specifically designed for the construction industry and offers temperature measurement capability to a resolution of  0.10C, dew point control, min-max point control, adjustable emissivity and adjustable radiative reflection factors. Our calculation and computer simulation capability is based on ISO/DIN Standards and the applicable regulations in the Grand Duchy.

EnergyConsult is fully authorized by Luxembourg's Ministère de l'Economie et du Commerce extérieure  to issue energy passes and attest the conformance to legal requirements regarding energy efficiency (Authorization No.  LUXEEB.R.00012). 

In addition, we offer to support your clients in keeping the energy pass up to date in the post-construction phase.
